I am writing on behalf of my friend Maryann who would like to be adopted and/or receive info on work at home jobs for moms.
I have been friends with her since the early 1980's (I know, we're getting old! LOL) and she has found herself in a lot of financial difficulty this past year.
Basically, she had to clean out her retirement and bank accounts from when she worked to pay off her husband's debts - around $80K, and STILL has about $30K more to go.
She is trying to legally establish that the debts are not hers & she is not responsible for them, but the collector's calls are unrelenting. As she says, she and her boys are living on cornflakes, hot dogs & ramen noodles. Her allowance is $40 a week to run the household on.
Her oldest son is autistic and still can not speak at age 7, and is still in diapers. He goes to school in the morning, and has social services therapists in the afternoon. She can not find anyone qualified to baby sit him so she can go to work who would not charge an exorbitant amount.
